Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Private lessons are great for solving issues such as house training (accidents and marking), destruction (chewing and digging), separation anxiety, resource guarding, and barking issues. They are also great for generally well-behaved dogs who need a little fine-tuning in one or more specific areas, such as pulling on the leash, jumping up on people, coming when called, and more. Whether you have a multi-dog household with management challenges or a puppy that is too young to leave the home, a private lesson might be the right choice for you.
Want to share the cost of a private lesson? Invite a friend and their dog to join you for training. The more friends, the more affordable and fun training can be.
In semi-private lessons we can address many of the issues that we address in private lessons with the added distractions of other dogs and people around.
Please note: private lessons may need to be booked two weeks in advance, depending on the season and our schedule. Please contact us for availability.
Virtual Sessions
Virtual sessions contain all the same benefits as our in-person private lessons with the added advantages of being safe, convenient, and can be done from anywhere.
The flexibility to learn at your own pace so that you and your dog can work at the speed that is best for you.
Working at home is easier and you can perfect your dog’s training skills without the added distractions. If your dog has issues with strangers this can be especially beneficial.
You can re-watch the videos if you have questions and contact us if there is something you need extra help with.
You will receive guided step-by-step training. You will be able to go at your own pace and return to the video to watch again as many times as you want. We were never just training your dog, we were also coaching you!
Initial sessions start with a questionnaire review and then we will address your most pressing issues and set realistic goals. Session recording are available via Zoom.
For dogs that need help overcoming issues such as fear, aggression, and separation anxiety, please see the Behavior Consultation section below.

Behavior Consultations
Behavior consultations usually last between 1 and 1.5 hours in which we will first talk through the existing issues, your dog’s health and behavior history, and then evaluate your dog. We discuss your concerns and develop a treatment plan for you and your dog that will help you to achieve realistically set goals.
This is ideal for dogs that need help overcoming issues such as fear, aggression, separation anxiety, resource guarding, etc.
